What is it?
Our mentorship program is designed to create positive role models for school children. More than just create an avenue for music lessons, young people also seek guidance and direction in their chosen art. Has music positively influenced your life? Have you made a lifelong hobby or even a career out of your craft? Then you have stories just waiting to be told!

Submission Guidelines
Our musician mentors will receive basic curriculum and training to ensure they are best equipped for the job. Expenses incurred by your work may also be covered by CMA on a case by case basis. Because our mentors will be working with minors, a background check and oral interview will be necessary. Submissions should include:

* A cover letter describing who you are and why you want to be a mentor.
* Resume of professional music experience.
* Personal testimony and ministry statement.
* Two personal references.
* Two pastoral references.

Compilation CD Fund Raiser

What is it?
CMA will be conducting an annual fund raiser to help support our community outreach programs. We have created a way for Christian musicians and bands to help promote each other's music, while also raising money for their ministry. Selected bands will each be given a number of CD's to sell; proceeds are shared between the artist and CMA. The more bands on the compilation CD, the greater the cross promotion for you! In addition to great exposure, the band selling the most number of compilations will have their press kit personally shopped to indie Christian record labels by CMA.

Submission Guidelines
For consideration on the CMA compilation, bands should submit a complete press kit including a demo CD. Artists will be selected based on professionalism, song writing, ministry intention and overall presentation. Press kits should include:

* A cover letter describing your band, target audience and fund raising goals.
* Unwrapped CD with submitted songs highlighted.
* Ministry statement for the artist / band including pastoral references.
* Press photo
